N95 8GB and Nokia BH-803

Well, I haven't posted in quite a while now and felt it was time for a lil' update.

Well, first of all, when Siobhan of WOMWorld asked me to give my thoughts on the Nokia BH-803 headset, I couldn't resist!

The Nokia BH-803 is a bluetooth headset (a very good looking one at that) that weighs in at just 11g but packs a touch sensitive panel for controlling the volume and features DSP (Digital Signal Processing) for crystal clear conversations. I'll be writing up a review soon.

Next up is great news for me...My dad bought me a N95 8GB! Finally I've moved up from the N73. This is the first time I've seen or held a N95 8GB and it's all mine! I was a bit dissapointed with some negatives of the phone though...

  1. I got an N95 8GB with a loose(r) right side.
  2. The browser sometimes closes when I'm playing youtube videos even with the vast amount of RAM this baby is packing.
Also, why doesn't holding the camera button activate the camera when the phone's locked? My 6680 and N73 did this with their camera protectors and I believe the standard N95 does this too, so why doesn't the beast do it aswell?

On the other hand I was very surprised at how quickly I was able to debrand and update the firmware to V15 compared to when I updated my N73 a few months ago. The whole process took way, way, way less than 10 minutes (That includes changing the product code, downloading the update, and updating.) Happy days!
