New Nokia N8-1 (or N9?) Leaked

Negri Electronics have posted the first live pictures of Nokia's latest high-end QWERTY slider phone. First thoughts? It looks pretty nice.

Renders of this phone were leaked several months ago, showing it in green:
Here are the rumoured specs for the device (courtesy of i-Symbian):

- hybrid design (touchscreen and QWERTY)
- 4 rows QWERTY keyboard
- 4 inch AMOLED capacitive tilting touchscreen supporting multitouch and gestures
- (maybe) using snapdragon processor
- 256 MB of RAM
- 1024 MB of ROM
- 16 GB of internal storage
- microSD slot
- 3.5 mm audio jack
- 8 megapixel camera with LED flash (no Xenon, no Carl Zeiss optic)
- HD video recording
- No HDMI output
- Microsoft Office Communicator Suite included
- Symbian^3 goodness
- availability in August or September
- super thin at only around 13.8mm
- anodised aluminium body
- 1200 mAH unremovable built-in battery
- same design philosophy as the N8-00

We don't yet know the actual name of this device, but according to the specs above, I'd bet that all will be revealed at Nokia world in September (14th to 15th).

    That's not N9.

N8 is the last Symbian in the N-series, as Nokia has repeatedly stated.

That proto has still Symbian on it.

Also, it has nHD resolution (look at the screen aspect ratio).

N9 will have 800x480 minimum or it will be laughed.

Clearly a qwerty-N8 variant with same platform innards.

    Probably an E-series variant.

Fake, Nokia has confirmed that the N8 is the last Nseries Symbian^3 device.
